An in-depth look at the Mediterranean Pyrenees, where the cultures of both Catalonia and France converge. The presence of four protected natural parks in the region is a guarantee of its biodiversity. A landscape full of towns such as Cotlliure or Cadaqués, which inspired the paintbrushes of Dalí, Derain and Matisse. Its wide-ranging cultural interest –which includes the Greek-Roman site of Empúries, the monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes or the Modern Art Museum of Ceret– is an example of history accumulated.
